About Me

I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. I attended Sharif University of Technology and studied electrical engineering. I became interested in computational biology and artificial intelligence through my undergraduate coursework, ultimately leading to my final bachelor's project, "Protein Secondary Structure Prediction using Neural Networks". I started my PhD program in Computer Science at UIC by 2012. If you are interested in my research subjects, you can find them at the bottom of this page.
Though I work in network design and analysis I'm very interested in data mining and big data analysis and in my free time I try to learn as much as I can about these subjects.
Outside Computer Science, I'm very interested in art and politics!!!
